Samuel Scott has been studying Martial Arts since he was a child with a passion to help empower others in the surrounding communities. In 1993, he took that passion and created Full Circle Martial Arts Academy in the basement of his home. Since then, it has become a full-service school that provides an awesome After-school program, summer camp, and martial arts training. Master Scott has studied martial arts for over 48 years.
He recently received his Grand Master credentials in 2016 from his instructor, Ama Guro Raffy Pambuan.
He currently has 5 additional black belts / instructor credentials, in other disciplines to include: Filipino martial arts, Kung fu, Chin Na, Kyusho Jitsu (advance pressure points) and Gracie Ground Survival Tactics for law enforcement. He has created over 150 blackbelts through Full Circle Martial Arts Academy.
He has also spent the last 30 years training law enforcement officers, protection specialists, and military personnel both in the United States and Abroad.
Master Scott is also the Author of 6 books that educate and empower women / children about personal safety and character building. He has also produced numerous training videos for children and adults.He is also the co-founder of the Women’s Personal Safety network, an international training company that educates and empowers women to protect themselves in all areas of personal safety. (www.thewpsn.com) He, along with his team have trained thousands of women and have been featured on numerous news mediums to include: Channel 9, Fox 5, Channel 7, WHUR Radio, Gazette, Prince Georges Journal, BET Heart &Soul, Afro American and more.
Samuel Scott is a certified instructor for the Maryland Police Training Commission; He created a simple yet extremely effective “Soft–Hand Defensive Tactics” program strictly for law enforcement officers. This program drastically reduces excessive force claims and aids in helping keep officers and citizen’s safe and out of arms way. He has trained a number law enforcement departments and security personnel to include: Prince Georges County Correctional Officers / Police, members of FBI SSG team, Panama’s police, diplomatic protection team and Special Forces. He has also created an online video training program where he trains police and school owners around the world.
Since Oct 2013, Master Scott expanded his vision to training police officers in Abu Dhabi; and is now the founder and CEO of Elite Training Group located in Capitol Heights, Md.
The company provides specialized training, nationally and internationally, for police, security and military personnel.
The area of training includes: defensive tactics, Use of force continuum, investigations, report writing, tactical driving, firearms training, emergency management, executive protection and Intelligence.
They also offer other soft skill training to include such topics as: superior management, team building, six sigma, creative thinking, leadership, time management, NLP and more.
Most of the trainers are former law enforcement, federal agents, military, protection specialist, management professionals and college professors.
Master Scott is certified protection specialist from the Executive Protection Institute in Berryville, VA and a member of the Nine Lives Association. He along with his team provides protection for Government officials-locally and international- VIP’S, celebrities and more.
They also provide high level close protection training which includes: formations, etiquette, threat assessment, and advance work, attack on principle, defensive tactics, tactical driving, firearms training, bomb search and more.
